Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Holocaust survivor Vera Hecht, beloved mother of our former President Joseph (and Donna) Hecht, and beloved mother of Erika (and Sheldon) Eskowitz.
The funeral will take place on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 10 am at Ahavat Shalom Synagogue, 130 Cuttermill Road, Great Neck, NY 11021.
Burial will be at Washington Cemetery, 104 Deans Rhode Hall Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852.
Shiva will be observed at 3 Harvard Road, Woodmere, NY 11598. Shacharit at 7:30 am daily, mincha/maariv at 5:30 pm.
The family respectfully requests no visitors between 12-1 pm and 6:15-7 pm. Shiva will conclude publicly on Friday at 1 pm.
