Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Raphael Basal, beloved father of our member Efi (and Ronit) Basal.
The funeral will take place Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 1 pm at Congregation Bet El, 180-01 Union Turnpike, Fresh Meadows. Burial will be in Israel.
Efi will return from Israel on Tuesday morning and will be sitting shiva at his parents home, 69-58 Juno Street in Forest Hills, until Wednesday at noon. Shiva is abbreviated with the arrival of Yom Kippur.
