Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of our member Michael Hoenig, beloved husband of Alisa and beloved father of our member David (and Holly Berns) Hoenig and Rebekah (and Adam) Ingber.
The funeral will take place Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2 pm at Riverside Nassau North Chapel, 55 N. Station Plaza, Great Neck, NY, 11021.
Shiva is being observed at the Hoenig home, 5 Oak Drive, Great Neck, NY through Sunday morning, August 6, 2023. Hours of visitation are between 4:30 and 9 pm. Hours on Friday are between 3-6 pm. There will be no hours on Motzei Shabbat.
Rebekah will be sitting shiva in White Plains (197 Hartsdale Avenue, White Plains, NY 10606) on Friday and Motzei Shabbat. The hours are Friday morning after minyan (which begins at 8 am) until 1 pm. The hours on Motzei Shabbat are from after Shabbat until 11:30 pm.
Services will be held there mornings at 7:45 am and evenings at 7:55 pm. Sunday morning at 8:30 am.
