Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Laura Berkowitz, beloved mother of our member Dov (and Ada) Berkowitz and beloved mother of Rivki (and Seymour) Adler.
The funeral will take place Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 12:30 pm at Gutterman and Musicant Funeral Home, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ.
Shiva, ending publicly Friday afternoon, March 13, will take place at the Reiss home, 8 North Ravine Road, Great Neck, NY.
Davenning will take place there mornings at 7:45 am and evenings at 6:45 pm.
The family respectfully requests that shiva visits NOT be made between the hours of 1-2pm, 6:30-7:30pm, and not after 9:30pm. Friday shiva until 1pm.
