Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Herbert Altman, beloved stepfather of our member Laura (and Elie) Cohen, and beloved husband of Elizabeth Lieberman.
The funeral will take place June 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Boulevard-Riverside Chapels, 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY.
Elizabeth Lieberman will be sitting shiva on Wednesday afternoon at the Altman home, 787 West Broadway, Woodmere, NY. On Thursday through Saturday evening she will be sitting shiva at One Kensington Gate, Apt. 324 in Great Neck. Visitors are welcome on Thursday between 4 – 8 pm, Friday between 12:30 – 4:30 pm and Saturday evening until 10:30 pm. On Sunday she will be sitting at 787 West Broadway, between 12 – 4 pm. On Sunday she will return to Kensington Gate between the hours of 4 – 8 pm.
