Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Harvey Blatter, beloved father of our member Brett (and Judy) Blatter and Helene Blatter (and Jeff Gutkin), and beloved husband of Fran Blatter.
The funeral will take place in California on Tuesday, August 29 and Brett will be sitting shiva with his family there through Thursday. He can be reached at 917-968-0680 (please be mindful of the 3 hour time difference). Brett will be returning to Great Neck on Friday and will be sitting shiva at his home, 24 Polo Road, through Monday morning.
Davenning will take place at the shiva home on Sunday and Monday morning at 8:30 am and Sunday evening at 7 pm. Shiva hours on Friday are from 12-4 pm and on Sunday from 8:30 am-12 pm, 1-6 pm and 7-10 pm.
