Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of our member Elena Berkowitz, beloved wife of Anthony Berkowitz and beloved mother of Dalit, David and Jonathan.
The funeral will take place Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 11:30 am at Riverside Nassau North Chapel, 55 N. Station Plaza, Great Neck, NY.
Shiva, ending Wednesday afternoon, April 1, will be observed at the home of David and Margo Berkowitz, 68A Wooleys Lane, Great Neck, NY. The family respectfully requests that shiva visits be made during the following hours only: Sunday, 5-8:30pm, Monday 3-5pm and 6-8:30pm, Tuesday 3-5pm and 6-8:30pm.
There will be a minyan for maariv at 8:15pm on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
