Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Dorothy Shakin, beloved mother of our member Eric (and Karen) Shakin, and beloved mother of Jeffrey (and Aimee) Shakin and Gary Shakin.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 12:00pm at Old Westbury Congregation, 21 Old Westbury Road, Old Westbury, NY.
Shiva will begin at the home of Jeffrey and Aimee Shakin, 9 Tatem Way, Old Westbury. Eric will return to Great Neck and sit shiva at his home, 19 Arleigh Road, on Sunday and Monday.
