In 1996 the Great Neck Synagogue undertook to memorialize the martyrs of the Shoah (שואה) in a unique and memorable way by creating a Holocaust Wall as an eternal testimony to the personal histories of our synagogue’s members. The pictures on the Holocaust wall represent the lives of family members prior to the Holocaust. This memorial has given our synagogue members the opportunity to not only dedicate those items that survived the holocaust but to also dedicate bricks that name the various towns from where our member families originated.
Individual bricks can be dedicated for $600 per brick.
