Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of David Benjamin, beloved father of our member Jeff (and Lisa) Benjamin.
The funeral will take place today, Monday, August 24, 2026 at 1 pm, at Worcester Hebrew Cemetery in Auburn, Massachusetts.
Shiva will begin in Worcester. The conclusion of shiva (Thursday through Sunday morning) will be at the Benjamin home in Great Neck, 16 Bayside Drive. Davenning will be Thursday and Friday morning at 7:45 am, Thursday afternoon at 7:25 pm and Sunday morning at 8:30 am.
Hours of shiva will be Thursday from after davenning until noon, from 1 – 5 pm and from 6 – 9:30 pm. Friday from after davenning until noon and from 1 – 4 pm. Saturday evening from 9 – 10:30 pm.
