Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of its long time member, Chava Shalmon, beloved mother of our member Orly (and Alan) Steinberg and Doron Shalmon.
The funeral will take place Wednesday, July 16, at 1 pm at Ahavat Shalom Synagogue, 130 Cutter Mill Road in Great Neck. Burial will follow at Wellwood Cemetery.
Shiva, concluding early Tuesday morning, July 22, will be observed at the home of Orly and Alan Steinberg, 2 Sands Court Rd, Great Neck, NY 11023. The family requests that shiva visits be made between 10 am – 12 pm, 1 – 6 pm and 7 – 9:30 pm. Friday from 10 am – 12 pm and from 1 – 4 pm. Motzei Shabbat from 9:45 – 11 pm.
Shacharit will be held each morning at 7:45 am, Sunday morning at 8:30 am. Mincha will be 8:10 pm on Wednesday and Thursday and 8:05 pm on Sunday and Monday.
