Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Barry Silberstein, beloved brother of our member Howard (and Florin) Silberstein, beloved uncle of our member Seth (and Lauren) Silberstein, beloved brother of Rita Shapiro, beloved father of Beth Silberstein, Scott (and Ellen) Silberstein and Jennifer Silberstein.
Th funeral will take place on Wednesday, September 7 at 11:30 am at Sinai Chapels (Schwartz Brothers – Jeffer Memorial Chapel), 114-03 Queens Blvd, Queens, NY 11375.
Following the burial shiva will be observed at the home of Rita Shapiro, 437 Links Drive, Roslyn, NY.
Beginning with shacharit on Thursday, shiva will be observed at the Silberstein home in Great Neck, 12 Stoney Run Road. Shacharit on Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday will be at 7:45 am. Sunday at 8:30 am. Mincha/maariv on Thursday at 7:00 pm, Sunday and Monday at 6:50 pm.
Shiva calls may be made on Thursday, Sunday and Monday from 9-11am, 12-4pm and 6-9 pm. On Friday shiva calls from 9-11am and 12-4pm and on Saturday night from 9-10:30pm.
