Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of Rosalie Marin, beloved mother of our member Sydelle Knepper.
The Funeral will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 11:45 AM at Mt. Sinai Memorial Chapel, 454 Cranberry Road, East Brunswick, New Jersey.
The period of Shiva, ending publicly, Friday afternoon, November 6th,will be observed through Monday afternoon in New Jersey.
Sydelle will be returning to her home, 9 North Drive, Great Neck, NY 11021, Monday evening and will observe the remainder of shiva there.
Monday, November 2 - maariv only at 7:30 pm
Tuesday, November 3 - Shacharit at 6:45 am, mincha/maariv at 4:30 pm
Wednesday, November 4 - Shacharit at 6:45 am, mincha/maariv at 4:30 pm
Thursday, November 5 - Shacharit at 6:45 am, mincha/maariv at 4:30 pm
Friday, November 6 - Shacharit at 6:45 am

Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of our member Herbert Eckstein, beloved husband of Nadine and beloved father of Kenny, Linda, and our member Myra (Mogilner).
The funeral will take place on Wednesday, October 28, at 2pm at Riverside North Chapel in Great Neck.
The period of Shiva, concluding Tuesday morning, November 3rd will be observed at the Eckstein residence, 45 Grist Mill Lane, Great Neck, NY 11023.
Services will be held: Shachris - Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday at 6:45 AM; Sunday at 8:30 AM. Mincha/Maariv - Wednesday and Thursday at 5:40 PM; Sunday and Monday at 4:30 PM.

Elliot Abrams is senior fellow for Middle Eastern Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C. He served as deputy assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser in the administration of George W. Bush, where he supervised U.S. Policy in the Middle East for the White House.
This program will be a community wide program, held at Temple Beth-El in Great Neck.
