Coordinate all whole loan accounting and tax and operations related to the purchase, sales, securitizations, put-backs, buy outs and buy backs. Maintain and prepare all G/L accounting, all information to complete tax returns and financial statement information for disclosure for whole loans and SPVs. Develop whole loan, REO accounting, reporting tax and custodial reporting systems. Develop whole loan pricing modules for month end evaluations. Manage and monitor data flow from services.
MUST HAVES: Bachelor degree in accounting. In addition, an active CPA certification is preferred. Five years of experience in whole loan accounting, tax and operations. Real estate owned accounting.
Proficiency in Excel. Familiarity and/or experience with mortgage backed securities, mortgage backed derivatives, Asset backed securities, global interest arbitrage, management of domestic and non-US portfolios (including pension funds, endowments, foundations, commercial/private banks, insurance companies).
