HUNGER INITIATIVE The Hunger Initiative Pass It Forward Committee will be having its first planning meeting for Rosh-Hashanah on Thursday July 29 at 4 pm at the home of Cindy and Morris Hodkin, 18 Birchwood Lane. The meeting is expected to last approximately 1 hour. Anyone interested in attending, please e-mail or phone Cindy at  ckorman@csklaw.cc  or 482 7771. New members are welcome. Drivers for deliveries are needed!!!!

Regular food drop offs continue Friday’s, at 18 Birchwood Lane. Drop off hours are between 10 am and 1pm. Kindly place your food in the cooler.

Great Neck Synagogue notes with sorrow the passing of our member, Lawrence Sneag, beloved husband of Cheryl Sneag and beloved father of Anthony, Darryl and Abigail.

The funeral will take place, I”YH, today, Tuesday July 27, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Sinai Chapels in Queens.

The period of Shiva, concluding early Monday morning, August 2nd will be observed at the Sneag residence, 20 Windsor Road in Thomaston.

Morning services - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Monday at 6:45 AM; Sunday at 8:30 AM Evening service - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 7:50 PM.
