Megillat Ruth tells the story of a Moabite widow-the Talmud says she is a Moabite princess-
who burns her bridges, leaves her homeland, attaches herself to her Israelite mother-in-law,
and migrates to Judah to build a life among hostile strangers. How and why does Ruth
transform herself from childless Moabite widow to Em Malchut-a mother and grandmother
of kings in Israel? Join us for a vibrant and exciting analysis of the heroine of this Tanach
jewel.
