YOUTH CLASSES
***New Jr. High Girls Chesed Club
The club will meet weekly at Great Neck Synagogue on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 7:45 pm to plan and discuss various organizations to contact and events to run that will benefit the larger Jewish community. Rabbi Lichter will supervise the club and act as an advisor to their suggestions. The club will host its first meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 16th. ***New Jr. High Boys Tefillin Class
A class taught by Rabbi Lichter on Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:15 pm for Bar‐Mitzvah aged boys who would like to learn about the laws and reasons behind the mitzvah of Tefillin. The class will meet in the Braun Youth Center and a pizza dinner will be served. The first class will be Thursday, Oct. 18th. Please contact Rabbi Lichter at ilichter@ gns.org to sign your son up for the class.
Parsha & Pizza
This class, taught by Rabbi Lichter, focusing on Parshat Hashavua will continue to meet this year on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 7:30, geared for 2nd grade to 5th grade. Pizza dinner is served, prizes and seforim are awarded to attendees. The first class is Wednesday night, Oct. 17th in the Chalfin Room at Great Neck Synagogue. High School Class
Our high schoolers meet with Rabbi Lichter on Thursday nights for dinner and learning from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. The class focuses on the daily issues that High School teens confront in their lives and provides for both a social and educational atmosphere. The first class is Thursday night, Oct. 18th at Great Neck Synagogue. Drop in on Thursday nights and you’ll be hooked.
SCHOLARS & SCHOLARSHIP - NEW SERIES
Tuesday, October 16, 8:30pm with Rabbi Avraham Bronstein. Join us for the first of three special study sessions on the Ten Commandments, culminating with a lecture by David Hazony, author of ‘The Ten Commandments: How Our Most Ancient Moral Text Can Renew Modern Life’.
TALMUD TORAH
